Jumbo Records 40th Birthday Party

To Leeds on Saturday for the festivities to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the establishment of Jumbo Records. If you're a music fan and you haven't been to Jumbo then you really ought to go and check it out next time you're in Leeds - it's full of all the music you've been looking for for ages and haven't been able to find plus a few bits that you never knew existed but now that you do you want them and then some other stuff that you didn't even know you liked when you went in but now you really really do. Anyway the birthday celebrations were terrific and it turned out to be a day of fantastic music with performances by Ahab, Serious Sam Barrett, Ellen And The Escapades and Lanterns On The Lake .....
..... and to round off a great day there was a headline set from Corinne Bailey Rae.
